Thread is a type of finely spun fiber used for sewing, weaving, and embroidery. It can be made from a variety of materials including cotton, wool, linen, nylon, and silk.
Uses
Thread (or thread-weight yarn) serves as the primary material used to form the warp and weft of most woven textiles. Textiles are usually sewn into garments or other items using a more tightly spun thread.
Thread can be used as an improvised fishing line.[1]
