Hemp
Hemp is a plant grown specifically for industrial or medicinal use. It can be used to make a wide range of products. Along with bamboo, hemp is among the fastest growing plants on the planet, and it was also one of the first plants to be spun into usable fiber. It can be refined into a variety of commercial items, including paper, rope, textiles, clothing, biodegradable plastics, food, and animal feed.

Hemp fiber has been used extensively throughout history. Items ranging from rope and fabrics to industrial materials were made from hemp fiber for centuries. Hemp was also commonly used to make sail canvas. Pure hemp has a texture similar to linen. Because of its versatility for use in a variety of products, hemp has been used in a number of consumer goods, including clothing, shoes and accessories.
Hemp cord can also be used as a potential bowstring crafting material.[1]
