A stick is an elongated piece of wood or similar material; more generally a small, thin branch from a tree or bush.

Sticks and poles can be crafted to be spears, either by sharpening an end to the stick or by attaching a sharp object to it, including but not limited to stone, obsidian, iron, steel, glass or a pocket knife. The spear in turn can be used either for activities such as hunting or fishing.[1]
They can also be used as tools, including for digging, and are often used for crafting matches.
