Robots

When you hear the word 'robot' what do you think of? A metal arm in a darkened factory wielding car parts? A rover on a dusty planet, pausing to scoop up a handful of space dust? More likely, you imagined a robot that resembled a human, helping you or becoming your foe. A robot that looks like a human is known as an 'Android'. On the other hand, the robots we've had the most luck with are telerobots. They are remote controlled by human operators, but since they're movements are predictable, to at least the operators, some consider them to not be true robots.
