Description
Corn is a very adaptive, low upkeep plant with many uses for food and livestock feed.
beyond being consumed directly, or fed to livestock, corn is also incredibly useful for producing Ethanol via fermentation, due to it's high starch content, as well as being such a fast growing and productive crop. far exceeding the yields per acre of other grains, or starch-rich plants, such as Potatoes.
Planting, growth and harvesting
In its early stages, corn can fall pray to wild animals and must be tended to for the first month of its planting. Unlike most other crops, no other tending is needed for another two months. In case of human consumption, corn is harvested early at its softest but is left until it hardens if used for livestock.
