Mud

Mud is soil, loam, silt or clay mixed with water. It usually forms after rainfall or near water sources. Ancient mud deposits harden over geological time to form sedimentary rock such as shale or mudstone (generally called lutites).

Uses

Mud can be used for daubing in huts.

It can be used as a simple building material. This is done by pushing mud into the desired shape. Once it is dried, it is called mudrbrick/adobe. It is also possible to use molds to shape the mud.
