Simple Machines are the building blocks of more complex machines, and use mechanical advantage to multiply force. They are extremely useful, both as tools to create more complex machines and do work more efficiently, and as concepts to help in understanding existing and complex mechanical systems.
Classical machines
The six Classical Simple Machines are as follows:
